The training provider must not exceed the time per day given in the table 8.2.1 below.

Contact time includes delivery of course lesson content, practical exercises and activities directly related to these, and feedback; non-contact reflection may occur outside scheduled hours.

Note

Contact time does not include homework such as preparation for teach back sessions and familiarisation with relevant theory. The total training day includes contact time, meals and breaks and travel between training sites (where applicable).

8.3 IQTX Module Participant Assessment IQTX participants are assessed against the overall learning objectives described above (Section 8.1 Aims and objectives of the IQTX Module) and the assessment criteria derived therefrom, listed in the IQT and IQTX Participant Performance Assessment Form in the IQT Standard, Annex 4. IQT participants are assessed against the overall learning objectives described above (Section 7.1 Aims and objectives of the IQT Module) and the criteria as listed in the IQT Participant Performance Assessment Form in Annex 4.

IQTX learning outcomes are assessed using the combined IQT and IQTX Participant Performance Assessment Form (Annex 4)

8.4 IQTX Module Participant Prerequisites

The target group for the IQTX training is current experienced GWO instructors and experienced instructors of similar programmes.

Furthermore, before joining the IQTX, the participants must have familiarised themselves with the GWO Taxonomy Framework and further relevant learning theory as outlined in the joining instructions to enable the participants to participate in discussions and learning activities addressing these throughout the IQTX training.

Verification of prerequisites should be recorded within the training provider’s Quality Assurance documentation
