BARRIERS TO LEARNING

The aim of this lesson is to enable the participants to: detect potential barriers to learning and their causes in the training situation; how to react constructively to these; and furthermore how to create awareness of possible learning opportunities in addressing participants’ barriers by connecting the behaviour, signs of barriers, and the instructors’ choice of reaction in relation to adult learning principles.

Prior to the lesson the participants must read literature on the topic to prepare themselves for the case work in this lesson
