ANNEX 1 - EQUIPMENT LIST
This annex describes the equipment required for delivering each of the modules contained within this IQT training standard.
All equipment shall meet the criteria defined in the GWO Requirements for Training and is intended for use in physical training settings to support safe and effective learning and assessment.
All equipment shall be maintained and where appropriate, inspected and tested in accordance with current national standards/ legislation and manufacturers’ recommendations.
Note
An appropriate and supportive learning environment is essential for the effective delivery of each IQT module. While classroom settings are common, non-traditional or outdoor environments may also be suitable where they support adult learning and group interaction. Learning environments should be inclusive, accessible, and appropriate for the designed learning activities. Outdoor spaces may be used where safety, acoustics, and weather permit, and where they support engagement and focus. Trainers are expected to adapt activities and tools to suit the setting while ensuring all learning objectives are met.
The training settings and resources shall comply with the general requirements as listed in the GWO Requirements for Training.
The learning environment should include, or provide functional alternatives to, the following:

Group Seating and Workspace
‒ Space for all participants with seating arranged to promote interaction (e.g., U-shape or circle)
‒ Tables or flat surfaces for writing and group work
•
Flexibility to rearrange seating for small group task
•
Activity Areas
‒ Open space for active learning (e.g., discussions, role plays, movement-based tasks)
‒ Breakout zones or quiet spaces for small groups and individual work
•
Digital Practice and Presentation Tools
‒ Areas suitable for practising remote facilitation and digital delivery
‒ A screen, monitor, or projector for shared visuals
‒ Whiteboard or flip chart (or suitable alternatives) for visual communication
