What exists beneath all of that?
There comes a time, perhaps in a quiet moment of reflection, in the midst of personal upheaval or from the pages of a magazine, when the question arises: Is this really me? It is in this moment that you start your awakening. This is the moment where you begin to look beyond what you have been told and seek the deeper truth of your existence. From the moment we are born, we are handed an identity. Society, culture, family, all shaping us with spoken and unspoken expectations. We learn how to behave, what is acceptable, what earns approval, and what must be hidden away. And so, we adapt. We build personas. We curate versions of ourselves that fit the world around us, often at the cost of silencing parts of who we truly are.
