Registration Opens For FTA’s Forum, Infoflex 2023 FTA’s annual conference, FORUM 2023, will return with the theme “Tradition Reimagined,” which calls upon the deep-rooted traditions of package print- ing alongside the rapid change in technologies The four-day technical conference will take place April 16-19 at the Hilton Columbus Downtown in Columbus, Ohio. Registration has been opened for the event, with more information at forum.flexography.org . In tandem with the conference, attendees will have the chance to network, learn, and discover the latest in products and services at INFOFLEX 2023. The 41st iteration of the exhibit will take place on April 17-18, hosting 180 exhibitors over 25,000 square feet at the Greater Columbus Convention Center. Mondi Recognized With Two Sustainability Awards Mondi has been recognized in two categories at the Sustainable Packaging News Awards 2022 for the circular economy and the overall category. The awards, presented by Sustainable Packaging News magazine, recognize environmentally friend-
ly and innovative packaging and recycling solutions as well as packaging-related improvements in oper- ational processes such as production, logistics and distribution. Circular Reasoning The Tesco shopping bags, made from EcoVantage paper produced at Mondi’s Steti mill in the Czech Republic, show how suppliers can work with retail- ers to develop circular systems and turn waste back into a valuable resource. ABG Showcases Technology At Open House Finishing equipment manufacturer, A B Graphic International (ABG), held an open house event at its manufacturing facility in Girona, Spain. The site, used by Enprom Solutions, jointly ac- quired by ABG and Kocher+Beck in July 2019, manufactures ABG’s non-stop winding machines, converting lines, sleeve machines and automated customized products. The event itself included a mixture of presen- tations and demonstrations aimed at displaying ABG’s technology.
