Highcon system purchased by Menasha in less than half a year, following the purchase and recent installation of two Highcon Beam 2 systems. Mensaha’s commitment to Highcon’s digital die cutting solutions has also led them to join the Vulcan Foundation Customer Program, giving them priority for earliest delivery of Highcon’s next generation digital die cutting platform for corrugated production. Menasha is the sixth and final member to join this program. The Vulcan1 will address a painful gap in current cor- rugated die cutting solutions. It has a maximum sheet size of 55 inches by 66 inches and supports boards up to 5mm, including microflute, B, C, and EB flutes. Like all Highcon systems, Vulcan will combine true physical creasing with laser cutting. “We are impressed with how fast we have started production ramp up.
