delivered by the Rev. Win. Carter, D. D., of New York, secretary of the Interna­ tional Peace Forum. On behalf of the directors and faculty, the Rev. 'John H. Hunter, secretary of the faculty, presented the diploma of the In­ stitute to the following who have completed, satisfactorily, the two-years’ course of training: Mabel ' Barnhouse, Josephine Jacobson, Mabel Nickell, Grace Ritner. Pearl Weeks, Van V. Eddings, Frank A. Green, Oliver Klingensmith. The Insti­ tute Chorus, under Prof. L. F. Peckham’s leadership, rendered a beautiful selection, and Mrs. B. F. Land sang a sweet Gospel solo. An unannounced' but most enjoyable number on the program was-the presenta­ tion of a luxurious leather upholstered

C HORAL HALL of the Auditorium Building could have held only a very few more people on the evening of June 20, when the directors, faculty, stu­ dents and friends of the Bible Institute of Los Angeles gathered to honor the “Class of 1913.” The Rev. T. C. Horton, superintendent, presided in the absence of Mr. Lyman Stewart, president, who was detained bv illness. The Scripture lesson was read bv the Rev. J. H. Sammis, and prayer was of­ fered by Mr. S. I. Merrill. After a selec­ tion by the Bible Institute Male Quartette ^Messrs.
