down in His behalf. Mr. Thomas Hannay, Jr., was for three years the representative of the Bible Institute among the men on the aqueduct and succeeded in winning the hearts of the men everywhere he went. Many men were won by him for Christ. He laid this work down in order to serve as Evangelistic Secretary of the Christian Endeavor of the state and for two years he has gone up and down California stir ring the hearts of the young people and helping to separate multitudes to a sur rendered life. Mrs. Hannay has been en gaged in teaching for a number of years and will bring to her work a trained mind and devoted heart.

Mr. Hugh Wallace has been for a year past the Secretary of the African Inland Mission Volunteer Band, which r\ow num bers some forty members and which has met once a month for prayer and for the work. He has been untiring in his efforts to bring the work of the Mission before the young people, and under God much of the results attained have been due to his faith fulness. He is one of the charter mem bers of the Fishermen’s Club and has done more than any other man in connection with the club to make it a success. None have spoken from our I nstitute plat form with more acceptance as an exegete and preacher of the grace and ways of the Lord: and his contributions to T he K ing ’ s B usiness have testified to the spirit uality of his life and teachings. As an editor of The Missionary Review Dr. Mey ers ably furthered the advance of the Gos pel to the uttermost parts of the earth, and as editor of The Fundamentals that arsenal of supplies .for the defense and confirmation of the Truth has been as widely useful in distributing weapons of attack and defense to the soldiers of the cross. We quote the following testimonial from The Missionary Review, printed a few days before our brother went to his rest: “As a lecturer on the Bible and missions, as a writer on many subjects, as editor of

H A R R Y H ERDM A N Mr. Harry Herdman is a lawyer by pro fession and has large equipment for his work. He has been a faithful student of the Bible and a practical preacher and soul winner. She comes from a missionary home, has splendid Bible equip ment and is in every way fitted for the life of a missionary.
