At John Jay College of Criminal Justice Ace Mentor Program hosts annual fall cocktail reception

For Breast Cancer Awareness Month EMCOR workers wear pink hard hats at job sites

PHILADELPHIA, PA — EMCOR Services Fluidics proudly announces that nearly 100 of its service and con- struction workers are wearing EMCOR Pink Hard Hats at job sites the entire month of October, Breast Cancer Aware- ness Month, in a “Call to Ac- tion” supporting breast cancer awareness as part of EMCOR’s “Protect Yourself. Get Screened Today.” Campaign. EMCOR Services Fluidics branded Pink Hard Hats will be seen by the public as its employees work in many loca- tions throughout Pennsylvania including Urban Outfitters. EMCOR Services Fluidics em- ployees are joined by thousands of other EMCOR employees coast to coast who are also wearing Pink Hard Hats dur- ing October at hundreds of con- struction sites---ranging from hospitals, roadways, malls, and high tech companies, to universities, military bases, and hotels. The “multiplier effect” con- tinues, as thousands of more people are reached with the “Protect Yourself. Get Screened Today” message as the Pink Hard Hats go home each night with EMCOR’s employees and is seen by spouses, daughters, sisters, neighbors, friends,

etc. Additionally, EMCOR Ser- vices Fluidics’ service vehicles, plus EMCOR’s fleet of 7,000+ service vehicles, are displaying Pink Hard Hat posters carry- ing the “Protect Yourself. Get Screened Today.” message to millions more people through- out streets coast to coast the entire month of October. A Celebratory Evening More than 200ACEmentors and guests attended to network and learn about the recent ex- pansion of John Jay College of Criminal Justice into its new state-of-the-art building, com- pleted in 2011, and to celebrate the program’s community of mentors throughout the Greater New York Region. Featuring the John Jay College of Criminal Justice Building Team ACE Board Member, Com- missioner David Burney of the Department of Design and Construction, kicked off the evening by welcoming guests and thanking mentoring firms for their impact in the growth of ACE. Following his re- marks, Robert Pignatello , senior vice president, Finance and Administration at John Jay College of Criminal Jus- tice, and Mustafa Abadan , FAIA, design partner at Skid- more, Owings & Merrill, LLP, discussed the design of the John Jay College of Crimi- nal Justice project and its significance to the college. Af- terwards, Charles Murphy , ALLENTOWN, PA — Jona- than Epstein, CCIM of Berg- er-Epstein Associates, Inc . is pleased to announce that he has raised over $9,000 for the Greater Delaware Valley chap- ter of the National Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Society for its 2013 City to Shore bike ride in Ocean City, New Jersey. Mr. Epstein has participated in this charitable ride for 9 years, and has raised over $68,000 for this cause near to his heart and close to his family. Mr. Epstein’s accomplishments consistently earn him designa- tions in the Top 25 and Top 50 fundraisers for the event out of the thousands who ride an- nually. “I am thankful for the sup- port of my family, my friends, and of course, my sponsors.
