CleanAir treatment – An advanced solution for improving the quality of indoor air by trapping formaldehyde that is mainly released by laminated furniture and new floor coverings, as well as by some paints and glues. The CleanAir treatment traps this organic compound within the wallcovering and does not release it back into the air. The treatment remains active, even after several coats of paint. Advantageous characteristics of the glass fibers remain, such as high resistance to impacts and fire. An ideal choice for schools, hospitals, and hotels, as well as private and public buildings. Novelio® FIRERESIST Novelio® FireResist coatings are a reinforcement solution that meet the stringent requirements for protected traffic areas of residential, public, and high- rise buildings, extending the life of walls or ceilings for up to 25 years. Their paintable side is opaque and only requires a single coat of acrylic paint. They come with an A2-s1,d0 fire reaction rating. The single coat of paint should be applied at a max. of 250 g/m 2 (required by fire regulations). The use of Novelio® FireResist 7035 glue is required and should be applied at 200 g/m 2 to benefit from the A2 fire reaction rating. The wallcoverings come in 25 m 2 rolls.

Installation All products are carefully checked before leaving our factory. Due to their textile na- ture, they must also be checked before final installation/hanging. Warranty claims should be accompanied by the roll label and a sample that shows the defect.. Keep the same “LOT” number together on one wall. Rolls from the same batch (LOT number) must be applied together, the colors may not completely match. In general, installation must be checked, or stopped, if any visible issues are identified after hanging a few panels.. Complaints received after installation of more than 10 panels cannot be accepted.

The wall must be clean (no dust, dirt or grease), dry, even and primed. Temperature should not be below 8 °C.

1. Pull the wallcovering through the machine and cut one panel according to the room height (+10 cm). Do not leave the product in water. 2. Immediately place the wallcovering panel vertically on the wall after pulling it through the water. 3. Place the adjacent panel edge to edge, making sure to respect the fluidity of the vertical pattern. Repeat steps 1, 2, and 3 with other panels until you have covered all relevant areas of the room. 4. Cut off any surplus with a knife. 5. Apply the 1st layer of acrylic paint when the product is dry (approx. 1 day). We recommend to apply a second layer of paint with dark colors.

For heavy renovation products (with the suffix -CY), use glue for heavy wallcoverings (approx. 250 g/m 2 ). 3. Place the wallcovering panel vertically on the wall and smooth it down with a plastic spatula. 4. Place the adjacent panel edge to edge, making sure to respect the fluidity of the vertical pattern. Wipe away excess glue on the joint with a clean tissue. Repeat steps 1, 2, and 3 with other panels until you have covered all relevant areas in the room. 5. Cut off any surplus with a knife. 6. Apply the 1st layer of acrylic paint when the product is dry (approx. 1 day). Apply a 2nd layer of acrylic paint when the product is dry (approx. 1 day).
