Professional Services roles Stakeholder Engagement

Executive Education The Executive Education team work at the intersection between industry and academia, developing and delivering a wide portfolio of programmes for organisations and individuals. ■ The custom and open Business Development teams initiate and manage business development opportunities from prospect to close, collaborating with client organisations to create learning experiences that deliver measurable impact. The team also conducts 1-2-1 consultations with prospective candidates for our open and DBA programmes, including CV reviews and supporting prospects through the decision-making and application process ■ The Programme team provides project and programme support to enable a high-quality delivery of our Executive Education portfolio. They develop and maintain close working relationships with client representatives, faculty, supply side contacts (internally and externally) and members of the wider WBS community and University, to ensure an exceptional experience for both our clients and participants.

The Stakeholder Engagement cluster is largely outward facing and works collaboratively to raise the global profile of WBS and build meaningful relationships with prospective students, students, alumni, and organisations looking to transform knowledge, leadership capability and career outcomes. The teams within Stakeholder Engagement are: Marketing and Communications The Marketing and Communications section work alongside Recruitment and Business Development to raise the School’s profile, attract students for our taught programmes, and provide communications and marketing expertise for WBS. ■ The Programme Marketing teams manage annual advertising campaigns,

Global Alumni Engagement We have a community of over 62,000 alumni living all over the world. The Global Alumni Engagement team nurture lifelong relations for the mutual benefit of our alumni and the School. The team is split into five streams of activity: ■ Global Alumni Networks. These are led by alumni volunteers and enable alumni to stay connected in their local region, with a calendar of social and professional events organised each year ■ Professional Networks. Covering a range of sectors including Finance, Tech, and Entrepreneurship, these provide continued career and professional development to alumni and students through sector insights and networking opportunities ■ Global Mentoring Programme. Exclusively for alumni and students, our award- winning programme carefully matches mentees with a mentor from our alumni community ■ Data and Insights. By looking carefully at data, this team builds a picture of where our alumni community is and how they can support each other and the School ■ Rankings. A dedicated team provides an effective administrative infrastructure and service for WBS to be able to successfully participate in ranking activities.

CareersPlus and Employer Relations The purpose of CareersPlus and Employer Relations is to equip our students and alumni with the tools, knowledge and connections to confidently fulfil their career potential. ■ The external-facing Employer Relations team offers a range of opportunities for students to interact with employers and alumni internationally. Activities include sector insights and festivals, recruiter days, skills sessions, company visits and panel events. They also source consultancy projects for our Full-time MBA and specialist MSc students and help secure placements and internships for our Undergraduates ■ The internal-facing Careers Management team empower our students to share and develop their career aspirations. They provide tailored one-to-one coaching, careers workshops, and executive leadership and development coaching to ensure our students leave WBS with the employability skills they need. Collaboration is key and these two teams work together to form CareersPlus and Employer Relations.

Recruitment and Business Development The Recruitment and Business Development section work closely with Marketing and Communications colleagues to recruit to our taught programmes. As ambassadors for WBS, the Business Development team host and attend a range of face-to-face and online events in the UK and overseas, conduct consultations with prospective candidates including CV reviews, and support prospects through the decision- making and application process. In addition to those activities, the team also identify and negotiate new corporate relationships. Our Recruitment teams also manage all processes and queries post application. They support the admissions process administration, while keeping applicants advised of the status of their application; including application processing, screening, interviewing, scholarship decisions and conversion of offer holders.

This includes creating social media content and campaigns, monitoring and responding to engagement, and capturing students’ experiences on film ■ The Brand, Design and Communications team bring the WBS brand to life both visually and verbally, and provide communications and design services to the School, including internal and crisis communications ■ The Press and PR team’s purpose is to manage the School’s reputation, thought leadership position, and provide support for promoting the School’s programmes and brand.
