In 2023, the McKim Center and Stony Run Friends Meeting will celebrate 203 years since McKim was established as a free school in 1821. The McKim School Temple Building opened in 1833. • Coach Garfield Thompson continues to lead as Executive Director of the McKim Center. • Coach Garfield Thompson is the new Executive Director of the McKim Center. • We are planning major renovations of the McKim Center's buildings. • We are continuing our foundational athletic programming at the McKim Center . • We have partnered with the Baltimore Wisdom Project of Wisdom Projects, Inc. to provide STEM and healing educational services and institutional support. • • We are planning major renovations of the McKim Center's buildings. • We are continuing our foundational athletic programming at the McKim Center. The Friends School of Baltimore has reinvigorated its long standing connection to McKim by affording faculty member Dr. Amy Schmaljohn time to dedicate her skills to the care and uplift of the McKim Center . • Gunpowder Friends Meeting continues to uplift McKim.
