Instructions for: Fridge Magnet Music
1. Print your artwork, but do not mirror.
2. Set the heat press to 200°C for 120 seconds. Adjust it to a heavy pressure — tight enough that closing the press requires some effort, but not so much that the glass could break. If you notice faded spots or marks after pressing, the pressure was likely too low. Always set the pressure before switching on the heat press.
3. DO NOT use a Nomex pad at the bottom of the glass. It will go straight on the rubber and Teflon sheet of your press.
4. Pre-press the glass for about 10 seconds with a sheet of plain copy paper on top. Then, wearing a heat-resistant glove, position and secure the print onto the white, printable-coated side of the glass. 5. Place the glass with the print back into the press, ensuring the white coated side with the print is facing upward. The glass must be at the front of the press and not the middle or back. Just keep it about 2-3cm away from the edge of the press.
6. Press for 120 seconds. When time is up, remove the print. Let it cool down before handling the glass any further.
