PRIME MINISTER ’ S SPELLING BEE 2023 During Term 3, students from Years 3 – 6 received the opportunity to participate in the Premier ’ s Spelling Bee to try and win a trip to Canberra to meet the Prime Minister. 23 students completed an online spelling bee that was timed and assessed based on speed and accuracy. Well done to the students for participating in the nationwide competition.
A special congratulations to Ryan L in Year 3 who progressed to the state finals with a score of 29 out of 30 . Ryan is the first Year 3 student from The Lakes to progress to National Finals and is to be commended for his study efforts during the Spelling Bee Competition.
