Software Troubleshooting Software Issue
Corrective Action
1. Verify channel field are properly populating on screen. 2. Verify all grey boxes are properly filled out. 3. Verify job code is properly filled in. 4. Verify WITS Decoder is connected to server. 5. If all of the above are verified true and WITS data is still not properly populating, contact D-Tech operations team. 1. Determine if all necessary cables are properly connected. 2. Verify if correct com-port is selected as active. 3. Determine if com-port is working properly. 4. If all of the above are verified true and WITS feed channel fields are still not populating properly, contact D-Tech operations team. 1. Determine if your smart phone is connected to the internet. 2. Verify if your smart phone security settings are adjusted properly so as to accept the download 3. Verify latest version of the smart phone app is being used 1. Verify in the main tab of the WITS Decoder that the strokes are matching up to the strokes on the rig computer 2. Verify the flow rate is matching the flow rate on the rig computers 3. If running a 3rd pump on the rig, make sure in the communication tab that pump3 is enabled 4. Make sure all data for the hydraulics section of the WITS Decoder tab is filled out properly
