I n a world where challenges can seem insur- mountable, UMADAOP Lucas County stands as a pillar of hope and support for individuals facing mental health struggles. With a steadfast commitment to suicide prevention, UMADAOP Lucas County has launched several initiatives aimed at providing tailored resources and un- wavering support to those in need. The “Choose Life Suicide Prevention Project” and the “Sound the Alarm for Suicide Preven- tion” initiative are integral components of UMA- DAOP Lucas County’s comprehensive strategy to combat the alarming rise of suicide rates in our communities. These projects are designed to raise awareness, reduce stigma, and enhance access to vital mental health services for individ- uals at risk.
