A Culture of Diversity and Inclusion

We are committed to an equal opportunity workplace with policies, procedures and practices that are without systemic barriers. We believe that all kinds of diversity, including age, gender, cultural background, etc. make for a stronger organization and that diversity partnered with inclusion provides a significant foundation to both attract and retain top talent. In 2018, we released our Diversity & Inclusion Policy which helps to promote a working environment where differences are valued and respected, where everyone is treated equitably, fairly and with respect. We foster a culture of inclusion where there is a foundation of trust and respect and each member of the team feels psychologically safe to take risks, raise problems, ask questions, disagree and make mistakes. Ballard has recently been named in the Globe & Mail “Women Lead Here” list, which identifies 73 Canadian companies at the forefront of women in leadership positions.
