Workforce Services provides programming and short-term training for industry certification, professional development, career advancement, personal enrichment and youth career education. Popular programs include nationally-recognized credentials in healthcare, information technology, skilled trades, transportation, and welding, as well as specialized programs in viticulture, enology and craft brewing, and KidsCollege. VA Ready rewards unemployed and underemployed Virginians who complete training and earn a credential for in-demand jobs. VA Ready partners with Virginia businesses and the Virginia Community College System FastForward program, which offers tuition assistance to qualified students. G3 programs prepare Virginians for high-demand jobs with the costs of tuition, fees and books fully covered. PVCC is partnered with the Commonwealth of Virginia, the Virginia Community College System, Virginia businesses and motivated Virginians, to help build a workforce to fill essential jobs in critical industries.
