Las exigencias actuales de la arquitectura en la Zona Típica de La Serena valorizan el lenguaje de fachadas, relegando la espacialidad interior de la manzana. El proyecto explora la posibilidad de abrir la manzana hacia la calle, erradicando el uso del automóvil del solar, otorgando al habitante un espacio generoso y lleno de recorridos para desarrollar su arte. The current architectural requirements in the declared Typical Zone of La Serena emphasize the value of the language of façades, and disregard the inner spatiality of the blocks. The project explores the possibility of opening the block to the street, eradicating vehicle use from the area and providing the inhabitants with generous spaces and rich circulations to develop their art.
