Así describe Candia los criterios de composición utilizados en el edificio: “Los diseños demuestran las dificultades para relacionar los niveles, accesos, espacios de estacionamientos y trabajo, estructura y detalles minuciosos a fin de armonizar los diversos volúmenes en funciones y formas a través de una ‘unidad expresiva’ compatible con el hito de la Praça das Bandeiras” 7 . En la planta baja, el perímetro del edificio ofrece varios accesos a las dos calles próximas, además de las vitrinas de algunos espacios comerciales, adaptándose a los desniveles del terreno por medio del escalonamiento del volumen construido y estableciendo relaciones de uso y conexión con las calles de los alrededores.
Candia describes the composition criteria used in the building: “The design shows the difficulties in relating the levels, access, parking and work spaces, structure and meticulous detailing in order to harmonize the various volumes in functions and forms through an ‘expressive unity’ compatible with the landmark of the Praça das Bandeiras” 7 . On the ground floor, the perimeter of the building features several entrances on the two adjacent streets, and the glazed storefronts of several commercial spaces, adapting to the uneven terrain by stepping the built volume and establishing relations of use and connection to the surrounding streets.
