En un terreno municipal con un marcado desnivel y bajo índice de constructibilidad, se levanta este conjunto de vivienda social que acoge a 151 familias vulnerables de la comuna. Las decisiones de diseño y construcción buscaron solucionar las externalidades negativas y dar plusvalía a los departamentos. In a municipal plot with a strong slope and low floor area ratio, this social housing complex provides homes to 151 vulnerable families of the district. The design and constructive decisions seek to solve the negative external factors and give added value to the apartments.
Producto de un concurso público del año 2007, se debía dar solución habitacional definitiva a 151 familias de allegados de la comuna. Inscrito dentro del Programa Fondo Solidario de Vivienda II, de la División Político Habitacional del MINVU, dirigido a las familias más vulnerables, el subsidio estatal debía ser una inversión social transformadora, con el objetivo de consolidar la vivienda como un capital, un patrimonio y, en definitiva, un bien durable y transable. A permanent housing solution was to be provided to 151 displaced families of the district as a result of a 2007 public competition. As part of the Solidarity Fund Housing Program II of the Housing Policy Division of MINVU, aimed at the most vulnerable families, the state subsidy serves as a transformative social investment, seeking to consolidate housing as capital and asset, in short, a long-lasting and marketable property.
