Una de las siete obras finalistas del MCHAP (Mies Crown Hall Americas Prize), que premia las mejores obras construidas durante 2014 y 2015 en América. Una propuesta diferente, en que la metrópoli se convierte en un lugar para descansar y donde elementos secundarios toman un rol protagónico: la piscina, el solarium y el jardín. El resto del programa consiste en un dormitorio, un pequeño apartamento y un lugar para cocinar y recibir amigos. La piscina y el solarium se disponen como volúmenes paralelos, en contrapeso. La planta baja, un espacio libre, aprovecha al máximo los jardines. Como resultado, tres niveles y tres ambientes diferenciados: el jardín al nivel del suelo, el nivel de la vivienda y la cubierta-piscina. A singular proposal, in which the metropolis becomes a place to rest and where secondary elements take a leading role: the swimming pool, solarium and the garden. The rest of the program consists of a bedroom, a small apartment and a place to cook and receive friends. The pool and solarium are arranged as parallel volumes, in counterpoint. The ground floor, an open space, makes the most of the gardens. As a result, three levels and three different environments: the garden at ground level, the dwelling level and the pool on the roof.
