CENTRO CÍVICO UNIVERSITARIO UNIVERSIDAD DE LOS ANDES, BOGOTÁ University Civic Center, Universidad de Los Andes, Bogotá Con el arquitecto chileno Cristián Undurraga como socio internacional, el equipo liderado por Konrad Brunner ganó el concurso para el diseño de la primera etapa de esta importante obra universitaria para la ciudad de Bogotá. With Chilean architect Cristián Undurraga as an international partner, the team led by Konrad Brunner won the competition for the design of the first stage of this important university buiding for the city of Bogotá. Con un área aproximada de 26 mil metros cuadrados y dividido en tres sectores normativos, la propuesta ganadora fue una de las cuatro finalistas anunciadas a comienzos de junio pasado. La convocatoria llamó a intervenciones "con clara vocación urbana que involucren en simultáneo los conceptos de campus vertical y horizontal", al mismo tiempo de consolidar a la institución universitaria como un actor académico y cultural referente para Bogotá. With an approximate area of 26,000 square meters, divided into three regulation areas, the winning proposal was one of four finalists announced in early June. The competition called for interventions “with a clear urban vocation involving simultaneous concepts for a both a horizontal and vertical campus”, while at the same time consolidating the university as an academic and cultural actor, a landmark for Bogotá
