Además de importantes aportes en mejoramiento de veredas y calles aledañas, se construyó una plaza pública por Av. La Marina, con instalaciones y diseño de alto estándar. Asimismo, se trabajó con la autoridad en un plan maestro de veredas y áreas verdes. La intervención conserva el orden funcional y volumetrías originales, se centra en la recuperación de los espacios y estructuras en que la inclusión de los nuevos programas respeta el orden espacial original. La imagen final del conjunto es una propuesta contemporánea sobrepuesta sobre los valores de la arquitectura original, reconociendo los órdenes existentes e incorporando un nuevo lenguaje a las fachadas a través de revestimientos, envolventes y celosías de acero que tamizan el edificio en una nueva imagen que aporta una renovada estética al sector.
In addition to important contributions to the improvement of sidewalks and surrounding streets, a public square was built on La Marina Ave., with high standard facilities and design. Work was also done with the authorities on a master plan for sidewalks and green areas. The intervention preserves the functional order and original volumes, focusing on the recovery of spaces and structures in which the inclusion of new programs respects the original spatial order. The final image of the complex is a contemporary proposal superimposed on the values of the original architecture, recognizing the existing orders and incorporating a new language to the façades through finishes, claddings and steel lattices that transform the building with a new image that contributes to the renewed aesthetics of the district.
