El costado sur del edificio, en cambio, consiste en un muro curvo bastante hermético y muy bien aislado; solo tiene algunas ventanas dirigidas a los cerros de las canteras. La curvatura de este muro le permite acoger los espacios de servicio. En el extremo oriente el muro remata en una escalera helicoidal que une todos los pisos del edificio, permitiendo minimizar el uso de los ascensores. Por el extremo poniente el muro curvo cambia su curvatura para acoger una plazuela exterior de planta circular. Los muros del edificio son de hormigón con aislación exterior y una terminación de mármol travertino nacional. La aislación exterior permite proteger la gran masa térmica de los muros, que de ese modo actúa regulando los cambios de temperatura. El techo considera paneles fotovoltaicos capaces de generar un 35% de la energía que ocupa el edificio. El nivel 1 está elevado 1,5 m sobre el nivel del suelo y se abre por el norte a una terraza a igual nivel. El nivel 7 consiste en una sala de reuniones y un comedor rodeados de terrazas-miradores, protegidas por un parrón que es la prolongación de las enredaderas de la fachada. Este proyecto tuvo un especial cuidado por obtener adecuados grados de confort por medio de sistemas pasivos de eficiencia energética por lo cual, sin haber sido un propósito inicial, obtuvo una certificación LEED-Gold.
On the other hand, the south side of the building consists of a closed and well- insulated curved wall, with only a few windows directed towards the hills of the quarries. The curvature of this wall allows accommodating service spaces. The wall ends on the east with a helicoidal staircase that links all the floors of the building, minimizing the use of elevators. At the west end, the curved wall changes its geometry to accommodate a round exterior plaza. The walls of the building are made of concrete with exterior insulation and finished with local travertine marble. The external insulation protects the great thermal mass of the walls regulating temperature changes. The roof is partially covered in photovoltaic panels capable of generating 35% of the energy occupied by the building. Level 1 is raised 1.5 m above the ground and opens to a north terrace on the same level. Level 7 has a meeting room and a dining room surrounded by panoramic terraces, protected by a trellis that is the extension of the vines of the facade. The project took special care to obtain adequate degrees of comfort through passive systems of energy efficiency, which, without being an initial purpose, obtained a LEED-Gold certification.
