Desde la ciudad holandesa de Delft, donde están las oficinas centrales del prestigiado estudio Mecanoo Architecten, su socia fundadora mantiene contacto permanente con Chile. Tras ganar el concurso internacional convocado por Empresas Transoceánica, desde 2014 está a cargo del plan maestro del Barrio Lo Recabarren en Vitacura, un desarrollo inmobiliario de 30 ha a los pies del cerro Manquehue. De la filosofía de Mecanoo y de cómo se plasma en este proyecto habló con Revista AOA, en una interesante conversación a dos tiempos iniciada en Chile y terminada a la distancia en Holanda. From the Dutch city of Delft, where the headquarters of the prestigious Mecanoo Architecten studio are located, its founding partner maintains permanent contact with Chile. After winning the international competition called by Empresas Transoceanica, she has been in charge since 2014 of the master plan of Barrio Lo Recabarren in Vitacura, a real estate development of 30 ha that has begun to take shape at the foot of the Manquehue hill. She spoke with AOA Magazine about the philosophy of Mecanoo and how it is being expressed in this project, in an interesting two-way conversation that started in Chile and finished long distance from the Netherlands.
