The main objective of the urban project is to open the port area to the city. This front will be activated by endowing it with a new program, transforming its coastal strip into a space of permanence, walk and recreation. The intervention starts from the historical urban center, proposing a new model of public space that prioritizes pedestrians, places value on existing heritage buildings and flows continuously to the port, connecting the inner city with the seafront. The master plan covers an area of 45,872 sqm.
