La skieuse Vicky Laliberté a remporté la médaille de bronze lors des descentes de slalom à Calabogie Peaks, terminant au troisième rang en slalom et montant sur la deuxième marche du podium en slalom géant. « Je n’irai pas à OFSAA car c’est seulement celle qui termine première qui se qualifie, a expliqué l’athlète de l’École secondaire catholique régionale de Hawkesbury. Les portes étaient celles de la FIS (Fédération internationale de ski) et elles étaient plus grosses qu’à l’habitude. Ça frappe plus fort quand tu rentres dedans et le parcours était aussi plus élargi. Ça faisait longtemps que je ne m’étais pas entraînée avec ce type de portes et même si je le savais, je ne me rappelais pas complètement à quel point ça frappait autant que ça!
