Main activities And Responsibilities • To manage projects from inception to completion including Acceptance into Service, providing monthly reports on project status as required and seeking approval for changes beyond those delegated. • Manage project funding allocated in accordance with the University’s prescribed procedures, in particular the financial regulations, and good technical and professional practice. Ensure that value for money is obtained and that a complete audit trail is in place. • Manage the expectations of clients through agreement and sign-off of the brief including scope, cost and time, and the active management of change throughout the project with regu - lar communication. • Take action to ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements. • Meet the needs of the end user within the schools and other departments by managing their requests which can include determining solutions to their requirements, obtaining quotations and managing the associated projects. • Proactively support the implementation of Health and Safety. • Performance Management – develop and use tools to adequately measure, monitor and re - port performance. • Pursue a personal programme of continuing professional (technical/management) develop - ment and support staff in their personal programme of continuing profession development (technical management). • Any further duties that may reasonably be required from time to time commensurate with the grade of this position.
