PERSON SPECIFICATION
SELECTION CRITERIA A. Formal engineering professional/technical training together with a minimum 3-year post qualification experience. Relevant pre-qualification experience may be taken into account if the post qualification criteria are not met. B. Significant previous experience of managing projects, including in educational accommodation. C. Previous experience with carbon reduction techniques including: target and monitoring; verification of energy performance and energy analytics. D. Experience and proven ability in the preparation and control of project budgets. E. Significant experience in the selection of suitable contractors F. Familiarity with current legislation affecting property, in particular Fire Safety, Health and Safety, Compliance, Building Regulations. G. Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and work outside of normal contractual hours to achieve these if needed. H. Good written and oral communication skills including the ability to deal fairly and diplomatically with other staff members regardless of job status. I. Able to demonstrate an understanding of equality and diversity, and its practical application.
