JOB SPECIFICATION School/Department: Estates and Academic Environment (EAE) Job Title/Grade: Project Manager / Grade 8 Reporting to: Group Projects and Maintenance Manager Purpose of the post This position is for one of two Project Manager roles reporting to the Group Projects and Mainte - nance Manager. The role holder for this position is required to assist the manager in all aspects of his duties, but most particularly in respect of delivery of minor works and project works. The post holder will be jointly responsible for proactively developing and coordinating the phys - ical environment and facilities services with stakeholders to create and maintain an optimum learning environment. Job Summary To be responsible for the provision of the following services: • Project Management • Financial management • Client Expectation Management • Ensuring compliance with appropriate standards guidance and good practice • Technical Advice • Health & Safety • Performance Management • Participate in call-out arrangements • Standards/procedures The University has high standards in terms of ensuring a safe environment for staff, students, and visitors and therefore an essential part of the role is to ensure statutory compliance.
