Seeking medical treatment, we traveled to Germany, only for me to lose her there. Left alone in a country I had only known from brief visits and without proficiency in the language, I was forced to navigate life inde - pendently. Through perseverance, I secured employment, acquired flu - ency in German, and ultimately established my path. Today, if I can articulate this narrative, it is a direct consequence of my mother´s influence and the empowerment she instilled in me. Reflecting upon her legacy, I perceive my life as divided into two distinct phases: before and after my mother. In the former, her strength sufficed for both of us; in the latter, her teachings became the driving force behind my actions. This journey has reinforced the importance of cherishing and valuing one’s mother while she is present, as the wisdom they impart serves as an enduring source of guidance and inspiration. If there exists a force capable of making the world a better place, it is embodied in mothers. Irrespective of whether a woman has children, every woman carries an inherent sanctity. As a woman, I take immense pride in celebrating the strength, resilience, and contributions of all women. On this International Women’s Day, I honor their unwavering spirit and invaluable presence in shaping a better world.

In my life, I repeated one of the patterns I grew up with, as my father used to hit my mother. Unfortunately, in my story, I met my daughter’s father, who won me over with his charms. He proposed, and together we planned to have our daughter. However, when I became pregnant, he started showing behav- iors I had never seen before. Out of nowhere, he began to hit me when I was six months pregnant. This situation continued until the first month after my daughter was born. At that time, I decided to press charges against him, and he made it clear that if I wasn’t with him, I wouldn’t be with my daughter either. Knowing this, I chose to take the risk of fighting alone for my well-being, my daughter’s future, and our happiness. Fortunately, I’ve had my moth- er’s support, and to this day, I’ve worked tirelessly to give my daughter the life she deserves. I’m currently finishing my degree in Business Administration because my daughter has inspired me to become someone she can feel proud of and look up to as a role model. I’m also studying English to grow profession- ally at TP, and above all, I’ve focused on teaching my daughter life’s most precious values: respect, honesty, and humility. My daughter is two years old and has just started preschool. I’ve enjoyed this stage with her to the fullest. We do homework together, and when she comes home, I dedicate my time to understanding her, playing, rest- ing, and sharing every possible moment. Thankfully, she’s been a very smart, healthy, and interactive girl. By God’s grace, we’ve managed to move forward together.
