Beyond these values, I aspire for my children to be good human beings. I want them to learn life skills that will shape them into compassionate, kind, and respectful individuals. Life lessons go beyond textbook knowl- edge, understanding empathy, practicing gratitude, and showing kind- ness to others are qualities I believe will contribute to their well-rounded development. As a parent, I want to instill these qualities in them through my own actions, teaching them by example how to navigate the com- plexities of life with empathy and understanding. I also want my children to embrace their unique identities. I encourage my daughters to be daddy’s princesses and mama’s warriors. This simple but meaningful distinction reflects the complementary qualities I want them to embrace. For my daughters, I want them to always feel loved and valued, not just for their beauty but for their intelligence, kindness, and strength. I want my daughters to carry the dignity and confidence of a princess and the courage and resilience of a warrior. It’s not about strength alone but also about responsibility, compassion, and leadership. My parenting approach is also rooted in fostering an environment where they are not just focused on academic success, but on growing as in- dividuals who can think critically, solve problems, and understand the importance of community and social responsibility. Education is about more than just acquiring knowledge; it is about shaping well-rounded individuals who can navigate the world with confidence and empathy. I encourage them to ask questions, challenge assumptions, and view ev- ery setback as an opportunity for growth. Finally, and most importantly, as a mother, I want them to know the meaning of love, care, and joy. Beyond all the materialistic things one needs to enjoy small, beautiful moments, and loving family and friends.

Since I was born, my mother has been my example of strength and cour- age. I can only imagine what she must have felt when she found out I had a bilateral hip dislocation. The doctors told her I probably wouldn’t be able to walk, but I never saw her give up. I watched her face uncertain- ty with so much courage that I will never forget. Thanks to her constant support and faith in me, I learned to walk. She taught me that even when life puts obstacles in our path, there’s always a reason to keep going. In moments when life felt difficult, and I wanted to give up, I thought of her strength. I knew she would have fought, and even though she wasn’t always physically there, her example motivated me to keep moving forward. Also, as a director and professional, I’ve seen how she instills everything she taught me in the children she works with. Her passion, dedication, and perseverance are a source of inspiration for me and everyone around her. Seeing all that she has accomplished, I feel incredibly fortunate to have her as my mother. Her love and strength have shaped not only me but everyone who knows her.
