School-age youth that meets the “Individuals with Disabilities Education Act”, or IDEA as identified in 300.8 are eligible to borrow a dairy goat and/or a beef heifer from a live stock exhibitor to show in the Special Livestock Show at the Carolina Classic Fair on Saturday, October 12, but must register by September 22 to receive prizes and free admission to the fair. This event is free and is sponsored by the Carolina Classic Fair and Forsyth County Farm Bureau.
