ENTRY INFORMATION
• See general rules on page 7-9. • The Carolina Classic Fair Management, Employees, Department Workers, and Volunteers will take every precaution to protect exhibits but will not be held responsible for any loss, breakage or dam- age to any article or exhibits. • Please do not enter a bird in bad feather condition. • All birds will be cared for and fed by fair staff. The Fair will furnish drinking cups. • THE DECISION OF THE JUDGES WILL BE FINAL. Who can enter? Residents of North Carolina and the following adjacent counties in Virginia: Carroll, Patrick, and Grayson. Where should I go to drop off my exhibits? Enter Gate 12, off 27th street near Goodwill. Where will my exhibits be displayed during the Fair? Poultry Barn.(Building H see map on page 12). Is there an entry fee? YES, the entry fee is .50 cents for each bird. How many exhibits can be entered in each class? One entry, per person, per class. When will my tags be mailed out? All tags will not be mailed out until after September 1 . Entry tags must be brought with the exhibit described on tag (DO NOT ATTACH tag to item), they are your proof that you have pre-entered, as required, and save time in accepting your entries for exhibit. Do NOT remove claim check from tag. It will be removed by Fair staff once the entry has been checked in. • Birds will be entered in single classes only. • Birds must be owned by exhibitor. • Premiums will not be paid for breeds not listed. • Premiums will be paid by check after the Fair. • Anyone who interferes with the judges will forfeit all premiums. • Judges may withhold prizes if birds are not of sufficient merit.
