EDUCATION DIVISION RULES • Educational Exhibits may be the work of more than one(1) individual or organization. However, if a student or Accredited Judge is seeking exhibiting credit, the work must be done solely by the individual and entered accordingly. • Plant material is not required, although NGC encourages the use of plant material where appropriate. • Educational value is very important. Handout material adds to educational value but is not required. • The space provided will be a 6’ long, three(3) tiered white riser with 10” shelves to be placed in front of a grey curtain. An exhibit must occupy a minimum of eighteen (18) square feet of surface area. • The scale of points for Educational Exhibits are listed in Chapter 14 in HB.

Division III Education Friday I-2 “Everybody’s Got the Blues” Exhibit 1 “Blue Hawaii” How to grow and care for tropical plants. Exhibit 2 “Rainy Day Blues” How to care for you plants Too much water, too little water and how to control water usage.
Division II Education Wednesday J-2 “So Much To See and Do” Exhibit 1 “Traveling the Highways” Hot the NCDOT provides for the Planting along our highways. Exhibit 2 “Visiting the Shore” Discovering the flora of the shore and how to be a good steward.
