SECTION 112 - JUNIOR YOUTH ARTISTIC CRAFTS Entry Rules • All Artistic Craft Exhibits must contain some fresh/and or dried plant material. Only dried plant ma - terial can be treated. • No artificial or endangered or locally invasive plant material can be exhibited. • The scale of points for judging Botanical Art Artistic Crafts is listed in Chapter 14 of the Handbook for Flower Shows 2017. • The General Guidelines for all designs are printed in Chapter 11 of the Handbook for Flower Shows 2017. Exhibitor must provide a card listing plant material used in the exhibit. • Rules for Botanical Artistic Crafts are printed in the Handbook for Flower Shows 2017 Chapter 11 pages 94-95. “Adventures in Carolina” Only one exhibit for the NCG Artistic Crafts Award in the Handbook for Flower Shows 2017 page 44. Elementary School Y1-030 Sunny Skies – A decorated visor (provided by the committee) and placed on a gray riser. The area provided for design will be a twelve-inch square. 4 entries Middle School Y1-031 Just Pounding Around the Block – An eight-inch canvas picture of pounded plant material to be staged on an eight-inch easel provided by the committee. The easel will be placed on a 12-inch square on a gray riser provided by the committee. 4 entries

Sneaking Around – One decorated sneaker staged on a gray riser in a 12-inch Square. Exhibitor will provide the sneaker. 4 entries
