ENTRY INFORMATION

• See general rules on page 7-9. • The Carolina Classic Fair Management, Employees, Department Workers, and Volunteers will take every precaution to protect exhibits but will not be held responsible for any loss, breakage or dam- age to any article or exhibits. • All entries must be brought in good condition. • THE DECISION OF THE JUDGES WILL BE FINAL. Who can enter? Residents of North Carolina and the following adjacent counties in Virginia: Carroll, Patrick, and Grayson. Where should I go to drop off my exhibits? Please come in North Gate. Please see the map on the exhibitor letter that will come with your entry tags. Where will my exhibits be displayed during the Fair? Event Center “Education Building” (Building B see map on page 12). Is there a size limitation? Yes, they will be listed in the class that you will be entering. Can I enter a item that I have entered in past years? No, the entry must be completed after the pre- vious years Fair. Where should I place my tag on my item? Please attach entry tag on the UPPER RIGHT-HAND CORNER from side of item where practical and possible. Please DO NOT remove the claim check from the tag. It will be removed and returned to you at the time of the entry by Fair staff. You must bring your claim check(s) back with you to pick up your item(s) on Monday after the Fair. May I mail in my exhibit? No, all exhibits need to be brought in on the scheduled drop-off date. How many exhibits can be entered in each class? One entry, per person, per class. When will my tags be mailed out? All tags will not be mailed out until after September 1. What will happen if I do not pick up my item on the scheduled date? You can pick up your ribbon and item in the office 14 days after the last day of the Fair. After 14 days your item will be disposed of in discretion of Fair Management.
