ENTRY INFORMATION

• See general rules on page 7-9. • The Carolina Classic Fair Management, Employees, Department Workers, and Volunteers will take every precaution to protect exhibits but will not be held responsible for any loss, breakage or damage to any article or exhibits. • All entries must be brought in good condition. • Booth locations assignments will be made based on the number of spaces available. All entries will be placed in a drawing to determine placement. Once placement is made location assignment will be mailed with Exhibitor’s letter after September 1st. • Do not use the name of a group, club, or organization in booth. An identification sign will be provided by the Fair and placed in the exhibit after judging. • THE DECISION OF THE JUDGES WILL BE FINAL. Who can enter? Any organization in North Carolina that provides an educational service to benefit individuals, families, and communities in addressing needs and concerns that will improve the quality of life in the communities. Where should I go to drop off my exhibits? Please come in North Gate. Please see the map on the exhibitor letter that will come with your entry tags. Where will my exhibits be displayed during the Fair? Event Center “Education Building” (Building B See map on page 12) Is there a size limitation? Yes, each booth is 6’ wide x 8’ deep with 3’ high drapery dividers. The back of the booth is 8’ high drapery and may be decorated as desired. The booth must not exceed higher than the top of the curtain or block the view of the next exhibit booth. An 18” high platform will be placed in each booth. IF PLATFORM IS NOT DESIRED OR ELECTRICITY IS NEEDED, THE REQUEST MUST BE MADE ON ENTRY BLANK. No platform will be removed from the booth after September 23. Items such as batteries or power cords must be supplied by the exhibitor. Do I mail in my entry form? Yes, entries blanks must INCLUDE the organization’s federal tax ID num- ber and (2) telephone numbers. Mail to Carolina Classic Fair, P.O. Box 68, Winston-Salem, NC 27102 or bring by the Fair office, 421 W. 27th Street, Gate 9. ENTRIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED OVER THE PHONE OR ON-LINE. What items can we NOT use in our booth? Booth decorations may not include any hazardous ma- terials, i.e., broken glass, sharp objects. Superintendent may use their discretion on whether an item needs to be removed. When will my tags be mailed out? Tags will not be mailed out. They will be given out the day of set- up. Please see the superintendent upon arrival. What will happen if I do not pick up my item on the scheduled date? You can pick up your ribbon and item in the office 14 days after the last day of the Fair. After 14 days your item will be disposed of in discretion of Fair Management.
