ENTRY INFORMATION

• See general rules on page 7-9. • The Carolina Classic Fair Management, Employees, Department Workers, and Volunteers will take every precaution to protect exhibits but will not be held responsible for any loss, breakage or damage to any article or exhibits. • THE DECISION OF THE JUDGES WILL BE FINAL. Who can enter? Residents of North Carolina and the following adjacent counties in Virginia: Carroll, Patrick and Grayson. Where should I go to drop off my exhibits? Please enter in Gate 8. Where will my exhibits be displayed during the Fair? Yesterday Village-Restored Log Museum. (Building C see map on page 12). How old does my item need to be? All items must be 50 years or older. Items must also have a family story or family history attached to them. The description of the family stor y/history MUST be entered online in the "Entry Details" box on the Fair Entry site. Items entered with "N/A" or "None" will be disqualified. Where do I need to put my description for my item? Descriptions must be entered on Fair Entry while you are doing your entry form. You will not have to bring in a index card with that information, the description will be printed out on the Entry tag. Where should I place my tag? Attach entry tag to the upper right hand corner front side of the item where practical and possible. Please DO NOT use tape directly on entry tag and DO NOT remove claim check from tag. Can I enter an item that has been entered in previous years? No, you cannot enter an item that has been entered before How many exhibits can be entered in each class? One entry, per person, per class. Can I mail in my exhibit(s)? No. When will my tags be mailed out? All tags will be mailed out after September 1. What will happen if I do not pick up my item on the scheduled date? You can pick your item up in the Fair office up to 14 days after the last day of the Fair. If the item is not picked up your item will be disposed of at the discretion of Fair Management.
