ENTRY INFORMATION
• See general rules on page 7-9. • The Carolina Classic Fair Management, Employees, Department Workers, and Volunteers will take every precaution to protect exhibits but will not be held responsible for any loss, breakage or damage to any article or exhibits. • THE DECISION OF THE JUDGES WILL BE FINAL. Who can enter? Residents of North Carolina and the following adjacent counties in Virginia: Carroll, Patrick, and Grayson. Where will my exhibit be displayed during the Fair? Event Center “Education Building”. (Building B see map on page 12) Do I need to mail in my Essay? No, all essays need to be uploaded on Fair Entry when you are filling out your entry form. Does the Essay need to be on a certain topic? Yes, essays need to follow the theme that is provided. What does my essay need to be on? All essays need to be clearly printed or typed on 8 ½” x 11” sheet of paper, please print your name and address, age, and telephone number on reverse side of Essay-upper right-hand corner-NOT of the front page. Can I enter online and mail my essay in? Yes. Once you have submitted your entry online, you can then mail your essay in. How many exhibits can be entered in each class? One entry, per person, per class. What happens if I do not pick up my item on the scheduled date? You can pick up your ribbon and item in the office 14 days after the last day of the Fair. After 14 days the item will be discarded at the discretion of the Fair Management.
