ENTRY INFORMATION
• See general rules on page 7-9. • The Carolina Classic Fair Management, Employees, Department Workers, and Volunteers will take every precaution to protect exhibits but will not be held responsible for any loss, breakage or damage to any article or exhibits. • All entries must be brought in good condition. • Theme will be “AMERICA”. Total creative freedom of materials and colors will be given. Decorations that are chosen must be appropriate for all ages. • THE DECISION OF THE JUDGES WILL BE FINAL. Who can enter? Residents of North Carolina and the following adjacent counties in Virginia: Carroll, Patrick, and Grayson. Where should I go to drop off my exhibits? Please come in Gate 8. Where will my exhibit be displayed during the Fair? Yesterday Village-Church. (Building K see map on page 12) How old do you have to be to enter? Competition is open to anyone 18 years and older, and anyone under the age of 18 that is willing to compete with adults.
Can my wreath have lights? No. Can I use candy or Food? No.
How many exhibits can be entered in each class? One entry, per person, per class. When will my tags be mailed out? Tags will be mailed out after September 1st. What happens if I do not pick up my item on the scheduled date? You can pick up your ribbon and item in the office 14 days after the last day of the Fair. After 14 days the item will be discarded at the discretion of the Fair Management.
