S6 - SECTION 102 - “MAIN DISH CHALLENGE” RECIPE CONTEST
ENTRY INFORMATION
Date : Bring to Village Pavilion - Sunday, October 6, between 4:00 pm and 5:45 pm Location: Yesterday Village Pavilion Judging : 6:00 pm - Exhibitor must be present to win Main Street Lawn and Garden and the NC Cattlemen’s Association invites our local family “chefs”, who work hard to create delicious entrees for their loved ones, to share their favorite MAIN DISH with us. Entry may be hot or cold, in any size pan or dish, and must feed a minimum of 6 people. Can be any variety of cuisine (Italian, Asian, American, etc.). Recipe must include 1 1/2 lb. of beef and must be verified NC local by receipt or proof of purchase and attached to an index card on the back of the typed or printed recipe on an 8 1/2” x 11” sheet of paper. Name, address and phone number must be printed or typed on the BACK of the recipe and should be submitted with the entry. Entries that do not have the required recipe will not be judged. Entry must be a Main Dish made with Beef. No Desserts, Soups or Stews. Youth Division: Ages 7-17 - Same rules apply. Must be different recipe from Adult Entry. See General Entry Information on page 282.
