ENTRY INFORMATION

• See general rules on page 7-9. • The Carolina Classic Fair Management, Employees, Department Workers, and Volunteers will take every precaution to protect exhibits but will not be held responsible for any loss, breakage or damage to any article or exhibits. • THE DECISION OF THE JUDGES WILL BE FINAL. Who can enter? Residents of North Carolina and the following adjacent counties in Virginia: Carroll, Patrick, and Grayson. Where should I go to drop off my exhibits? Please come in North Gate. Please see the map on the exhibitor letter that will come with your entry tags. Where will my exhibit be displayed during the Fair? Event Center “Education Building” (Building B see map on page 12). Who can enter this department? Competition in this department is open to anyone who is phys- ically and/or mentally challenged. Where should I attach my entry tag to my item? Attach entry tag to upper right hand corner front side of item where practical and possible. DO NOT remove claim check from tag. Claim check will be removed by Fair staff when you enter your item. Make sure you keep all claim checks, you will need them to pick up your item after the Fair. Can I enter an item that has been entered in previous years? No, the item must be created after the last day of the previous years fair. Is there a size limitation? Yes, the exhibit must be within the size limit which is 25” in any direction. Can I mail in my exhibit? No. How many exhibits can be entered in each class? One entry, per person, per class. When will my tags be mailed out? All tags will be mailed out after September 1st. What happens if I do not pick up my item on the scheduled date? You can pick up your ribbon and item in the office 14 days after the last day of the Fair. After 14 days the item will be discarded at the discretion of the Fair Management.
