ENTRY INFORMATION

• See general rules on pages 7-9. • The Carolina Classic Fair Management, Employees, Department Workers, and Volunteers will take every precaution to protect exhibits but will not be held responsible for any loss, breakage or damage to any article or exhibits. • All entries must be brought in good condition. • The Fair reserves the right to refuse applications when all exhibit booths are filled even if received before deadline. • Booth location assignments will be made based on the number of space available. All entries will be placed in a drawing to determine placement. Once placement is made location assign- ments will be emailed with Exhibitor’s letter after September 1. • THE DECISION OF THE JUDGES WILL BE FINAL. Who can enter? Residents of North Carolina and the following adjacent counties in Virginia: Carroll, Patrick, and Grayson. How do I enter? Entries need to be mailed to the Fair Office at P.O. Box 68, Winston-Salem, NC 27102 or bring to the Fair Office, 421 W. 27th Street, Gate 9. When do the forms need to be turned in? Entries forms MUST be postmarked by midnight September 1st. Where do I find the entry form? You can find the entry form on our website. Please make sure everything is filled out, including the organization’s federal tax ID and 2 contact numbers. What size are the booths? Exhibit booths are 6’ wide x 8’ deep with 3’ high drapery dividers. The back of the booth is 8’ high drapery and may be decorated as desired. Booth items must not extend higher than the top of the back curtain or block the view of the next exhibit booth. An 18” high platform will be placed in each booth. If the platform is not desired or electricity is needed, request must be made on entry form. No platform will be removed from booths after September 21. Items such as batteries or power cords must be supplied by exhibitors. Where do I get my entry tag? Entry tags will be given out on the day of set-up. Please see the Superintendent upon arrival. What can I decorate my booth with? Booth decorations may not include any hazardous mate- rial, i.e. broken glass, sharp objects. Superintendent may use their discretion in determining if an item(s) should be removed. Where will the display be located? They will be displayed in the Event Center “Education Build- ing” during the entire Fair.
