RULES AND REGULATIONS All out of state Livestock Health Certificates must be checked before unloading animals from the trailer. NO EXCEPTIONS! Fair Management reserves the right to have veterinarian on grounds to check animals. NATIONAL CODE OF SHOW RING ETHICS: The Carolina Classic Fair agrees to abide by the IAFE (International Association of Fairs and Expositions) National Code of Show Ring Ethics. Exhibitors are responsible for being familiar with this Code of Show Ring Ethics. A copy of the Code is posted in the Livestock Barn Show Office and copies are available from the Fair Administrative Office. No dogs allowed on Fairgrounds except Sheepherding Dogs, and dogs assisting blind patrons. In keeping with the basic philosophy of the Purebred Dairy Association, the Carolina Classic Fair sup - ports the Code of Ethics recommended by the Purebred Dairy Cattle Association. A violator may be subject to the disciplinary provision of the bylaws of this association. A copy of the Code can be found in the Dairy Section of the catalog. Fair Management reserves the final and absolute right to interpret these rules and arbitrarily determine and settle all matters. • DO NOT FAX ENTRIES • ENTRIES CLOSE: SEPTEMBER 1, Competition open to the world. Entry fees and Tack Stall Fees must accompany entry black and liability statement signed or entry will not be accepted. The exhibitor must provide the last four (4) digits of the Social Security Number, or the entries Federal Tax ID Numbers for the Farm or premium cannot be paid. Number must correspond to exhibitor’s name or farm name, or premium check will not be written. Online entry submission is preferred. Separate entry blanks must be used by each exhibitor for each breed and each show. Entry blank must include ALL information requested INCLUDING Social Security Number (Premiums cannot be paid without this information). **IMPORTANT- Show programs are prepared from this information.** • Tack Stalls: One (1) Tack Stall- FREE to each Beef and Dairy Cattle Exhibitor. • Registration Papers: Registration papers for Cattle, Breeding Sheep and Dairy Goats will be checked. Copies of Registration Papers for each animal must be available during shows. Exhibitors must enter all animals in name or names as shown on Registration Papers except animals being shown by juniors. These should be entered in Exhibitor’s name. • An exhibitor may show as many animals as he/she has entered in single classes, but may not receive more than two (2) premium monies except where 3 or 4 animals are in one class due to previous combined classes in Beef Cattle. Junior exhibitors showing sheep, beef and dairy are limited to one (1) animal per class except where animals are sorted by weight. Exhibitors remov - ing animals from show ring after judge begins giving reasons for placings (or any time before this) will forfeit premiums. If only one animal appears in a class, the ribbon (blue, red, etc.) and premium money is to be determined by the judge, according to the quality of the animal shown.
