2022 FL EOP Resource Guide

Provaunt Insecticide Mole Cricket Assurance With Provaunt ® WDG insecticide, Syngenta is assuring control of mole crickets on your tees, fairways, and roughs. If your Provaunt WDG applications fail to provide adequate control of mole crickets through December 31, 2023, and an additional re-treatment is required, Syngenta will provide the appropriate product for curative control.

By making two applications of Provaunt WDG (based on the timing below) to tees and roughs in addition to your fairways, the Mole Cricket Assurance is extended through December 31, 2023.

Mole Cricket Assurance Apply two applications of Provaunt WDG at 18 oz/acre for early-stage nymph control from May through June. • First application should be made at peak egg hatch and/or when small nymphs are present as determined by a soap flush. This will vary by geography and timing can be checked with your local Syngenta Territory Manager, university extension department or turf entomology website. •The second application should be made 2–4 weeks later. • Water-in with 1/8 inch of water to obtain thorough, uniform coverage. • Best results are achieved with early morning applications when leaf surface is wet. • The assurance begins upon completion of the second application through December 31, 2023. • Provaunt WDG is tank-mix compatible with grub control products including Acelepryn ® and Meridian ® brand insecticides.
