Yoga Chair Yoga, Yoga (50+ years)

Iyengar Yoga Develop strength and flexibility. For beginners and experienced students seeking to focus on fundamentals. Props are optional if brought. Mindful Yoga Practice balancing mindfulness and body connection, strength building, and relaxation. All fitness and experience levels welcome. Power Yoga Flow through classic Hatha yoga poses for a physical challenge that promotes body, mind, and breath awareness. Please bring a yoga mat. Vinyasa Yoga Connect movement and breath in Vinyasa Yoga for a practice that builds strength, balance, and inner peace. Yoga Fit Improve strength and mobility through slow, controlled movements inspired by yoga and enhanced with weights. All levels and abilities are welcome.

Boost mindfulness, balance and flexibility with the support of a chair. Experience Yoga 50+, with modified options. All levels and abilities are welcome. Flow Yoga Flow through continuous poses with dynamic, rhythmic, and fluid movements. Gentle Yoga & Meditation Move through gentle, easy-on-your-body, yoga poses, followed by a guided meditation. Hatha Yoga, Hatha & Core Yoga Postures and stretches with breath work to encourage alignment, improve balance, increase strength and help calm the mind and body. Hatha & Yin Yoga Align your body and mind. Posture and breath work to achieve, strength, flexibility and balance. Yin yoga includes longer floor based postures.

Personal Trainers Achieve your fitness goals with our certified personal trainers. Whether in private or semi - private sessions, we’ll help create and implement a tailored plan. Expect your first session of 90 minutes to include consultation time and active floor time. Subsequent sessions will be 60 minutes. təməseẃtxʷ Aquatic and Community Centre 604-777-5100 Private Personal Training Fee (1 hour): • $66.50 / 1 session • $190.00 / 3 sessions • $299.75 / 5 sessions • $566.25 / 10 sessions Semi - Private Personal Training Fee (2 participants, 1 hour): • $88.00 / 1 session

Our knowledgeable fitness attendants are on-site to ensure your safety during the hours below. Ask them if you need help using equipment. For hours visit: newwestcity.ca/fitness Youth Orientation (13 - 18 years) Youth must complete a brief orientation to work out independently at the Youth Centre. Up to four youth are allowed per one - hour time block. Drop-ins are welcome, but space isn’t guaranteed. Youth aged 13 - 14 can work out with an adult at the təməseẃtxʷ Aquatic and Community Centre and Queensborough Community Centres. Once they complete the youth centre orientation, adult supervision is not required. Fitness Centre Etiquette • Closed toed footwear required in all fitness centre spaces • Clean all areas and equipment after use • Respect others and their space regarding photography and video
