General Interest Childminding (2 months - 5 years)
Storytime (3 - 5 years) Join us for fun stories, rhymes, and songs for children and their caregivers. Daycare and preschool groups must email youth@nwpl.ca to register before attending. After-School Drop-in (5 - 12 years) Enjoy board games and do other fun activities with library staff. Children age 8 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Knitting & Crochet (6 - 12 years) Knit and crochet with other children and receive guidance from staff. Get help with a project of your own or work on one of the same projects as participants. Builder’s Club (5 - 11 years) Join us for LEGO activities packed with fun, teamwork and friendship. Build LEGO creations using one of our many kits. Sports Open Gym - Children (9 - 12 years) Play recreational sports such as basketball, volleyball, etc. Staff setup for a different sport each week. Geared towards Grade 5 and Grade 6 students. Apply for a FREE Grade 5 or Grade 6 ActivePASS at newwestcity.ca/activepass .
Participate in on-site programs while your little ones have a blast in our bright and welcoming play space. This childminding service offers a safe, caring, and supervised environment where children can explore, play, socialize, and enjoy fun, age-appropriate activities. Drop-in care is available between 30 minutes and 2 hours. Childminding Fee: $6.25 / 60 minutes, $49.25 / 10 hours Babytime (0 - 12 months, 0 - 23 months) Join us for quality one-on-one time with your little one as we learn literacy-building rhymes and songs. Baby Social (0 - 23 months) Connect with other new parents in this casual opportunity to socialize and share. Toddler Time (12 - 36 months) Enjoy a fun and active storytime specifically geared toward toddlers and their caregivers. Indoor Playland (0 - 5 years) Caregiver Participation Discover a world of fun with engaging toys, open play, and a bouncy castle. Little ones can explore and socialize in an energetic, welcoming space full of laughter and movement.
