Bermudagrass Mite Control Options
3.125 – 6.25 fl oz/acre
10 – 20 fl oz/acre
Initiate applications prior to or in the early stages of symptom development. Tank mix with a surfactant or wetting agent and water in with 0.1 – 0.25 inch of irrigation immediately after application. Apply on 14-day interval.
To ensure optimal control of mites, apply in combination with the labeled application rate of a surfactant. A second application, five to seven days after the first, may be necessary to achieve acceptable control.
5 fl oz/acre
1.7 – 6.8 fl oz/acre
Apply every two weeks as necessary for a maximum of 25 fl oz/acre/year. Start treatments prior to onset of symptoms for most effective control and reapply on an as-needed basis. Apply when pests first appear or when damage is first noticed. The addition of a spreader sticker may improve efficacy. Spray adjuvants with spreading/ penetrating characteristics may improve leaf uptake and systemic concentration of the active ingredient.
Atexzo will provide knockdown and residual control of bermudagrass mites. Apply at turf green up and continue applications on a 14 – 21-day interval for optimal control. The addition of a non-ionic surfactant is recommended. Applying Atexzo in a seasonal program with Divanem® insecticide is recommended for extended mite control and resistance management. If mole crickets are also a target, apply at 8.2 fl oz/acre and water-in with at least 0.15” of irrigation within 24 hours after application
